We recently took photos of all of the grandkids to help Nana create her Christmas card.
In other words, the third annual "Don't Quit Your Day Job" makeshift photography studio session was conducted in our bedroom. : )
Some outtakes:
Beth says this one looks old-timey, like those nineteenth century things, before people smiled in photographs.
Apparently Santa's sleigh was coming in for a landing...

I think even these outtakes are pretty great...I bet you've got some really good ones. How could you not with those beautiful kids (with their amazing blue eyes) in their cute outfits!
Village of the Damned! Just kidding. I think they're good.
Oh I just had a good laugh at that one... in spaaaace.
Why didn't you put June in Sam's arms for the group photo?! :)
I take it that you decided it a bit easier to separate toddlers and very sweet small babies?
Oh my, that second one of all of them looking up is precious.
Quit your day job! Quit your day job! These are great!
Okay, I need to know more about your technical prowess. These are great! We got the Nikon D90 and now I need a better lens (got the kit lens 18-105mm but need something for portraiture) and a flash. What do you use??
OMG - these are FANTASTIC (for the blog.... maybe not so much for Nanny's christmas card). LOVE THEM! "Baby is Space" LOLOLOLOLOL! And June is so big! Seems like she was just born yesterday.
I am thankful to have friends with DARLING, beautiful children, and that those friends take the time and effort to post pictures and stories on blogs so I can see them all the time!

Ann - these were all taken with a 50mm 1.8 lens. You can get one for around $100, so it's a really great value.
