At the risk of getting hate mail...
Would it upset you more to know that I do not hear from her again for about 12 hours after setting her down? Actually, I think this video should give the sleep deprived great hope!
In fairness, this has been the pattern of our daughters as babies: make the putting to bed routine a living hell for approximately 3-4 months, followed by this bliss.
