[This just might be video week here on "Are We There Yet?". I know a lot of people don't care to watch these. It's an extra click for you, plus the content is often stuff only a mother could love. But I'm in the mood for vids because I've been working on getting them off the Flip camera. And for a tiny handful of people who rarely get to see the live version of my kids, I know these will be much appreciated. Enjoy!]
First up, June emptying the dishwasher. I used to shoo her away for fear that her wobbly legs would give out and she'd brain herself on the sharp metal corners. That still may happen, but she loves it so much I can't shoo anymore. She crawls over like a moth to a flame as soon as she hears the door open. Plus, she's so darn helpful!

If you increase the child labor around your house, maybe you will have more time for the list of things you're not getting to in the previous post? June empties dishwasher / Kate exercise. Georgia folds clothes / Kate pays bills. What a system!
whoa I need a dramamine after that. ;)
An excellent counterpoint to the class I just sat through on efficiency in organizations. Glad to see that you're rationally maximizing the important things.
so cute! Did georgia do this? max is also fascinated by the unloading of the dishwasher. Harry showed absolutely no interest. I'm wondering if it's a second child thing?
Beth - excellent idea! More child labor.
Cara - sorry. Most of my video work requires medication to appreciate.
Emily - I'm not sure what that means, but it sure sounds smart.
Crystal - funny, I hadn't thought about it, but I can't really remember Georgia doing this. Sadly I bet it is a case of when I only had one child, I got down and played with the child and waited to empty the dishwasher! So yes, it's a "second child thing." : )
