Are You Ready for Cake Month?

Goodbye, July!  Hello, cake month!



You know, people giggle when they hear that all three of our children have August birthdays, but really it's worse than that.

All three of our kids' birthdays are within eleven days of each other.

Also, we live in a six unit condo building, and with the arrival of our neighbor's baby any day now, this building will be home to seven children who ALL have birthdays between July 31st and August 22nd.  Feel free to come sample the water if you dare. 

Time Marches On

I think most of you already know this, but I feel like I have to say it here at least once, so here goes.  My dad died last Thursday.  It's been a rough week, but we're getting through it.

Oh, Waylon. If you only knew how dedicated I am to this stupid photography project. Sigh.
