Proudly Introducing: June Finch

Born at 12:59 a.m. today.
8 lbs., 2 oz.
20 inches
Wonderful and beautiful in every way.

I'm currently typing with one hand while holding a sleeping Junebug in the crook of my other arm (Joe is on a brief hospital hiatus visiting Georgia at home), so I'll have to keep this very short.

Here are a few pictures to tide you over until I one day have time to write the full story. Oh boy, what a story.

As you can see, it was quite a sleepy first day for the little one. I'm taking advantage of this calm before the storm and going to grab some shuteye myself now. Sweet dreams.

I immediately applauded when I saw this post...for a few big reasons. First, yeah, finally, baby news! Next, yeah, a sister for Georgia! Sisters rule. I am sure you know this because you have one...I don't, but I have I have two little girls and they have each other and it is amazing. And third, well, June...awesome. Beautiful baby and one of my favorite names. Just like Georgia. Georgia and June. Soft "J" sounds all around...totally lovely. Ok, Kate, I need to meet you guys!!!

Huge congrats on baby June. Enjoy every little second :)

Congratulations! I've been telling everyone your story! I won't spoil it here for those who don't know. You know I'm not super into newborns, but seriously, June is beautiful. And I can't tell you how stinkin' cute I think that name is! High five mom and dad!
