Women's Work: Cards

Saw this on Rants from Mommyland and guffawed.  Wouldn't you just love to get a card like this from a friend with the guts to send it?

{In fairness, before I get in trouble for this post I must add that Joe has contributed to our Christmas cards this year.  Also, I enjoy being in charge of our cards, so it's not like this is a project I'd really want to hand over even if he offered.   There.  We cool?}

Hilarious! I'm in the process of picking out our cards. As much as I would love to send out one of these cards, James would help if I let him... :-)

I loved it! And I actually thought the whole first paragraph sounded exactly like you -

The holidays are coming. Birthdays, anniversaries, new babies, and graduations happen throughout the year. How do you think people get greeting cards for these events? Because apparently there was a silent clause in our marriage vows that stated that I was responsible for the timely sending of cards and gifts. Have we met? I am the wrong person to put in charge of this task. First of all, I forget things. Second of all - I hate the post office. Hate it. But I still do it. Thirdly, I . . . can't remember exactly.
