Someone Threw Up in My Hat

Georgia's first ear infection.  YIKES.  I had no idea how painful these could be and found myself Googling "earache pain" to determine whether I should take my poor baby to the E.R. for something stronger than Children's Motrin, and that was after we'd already seen the doctor and started antibiotics.  There's nothing like holding your moaning, crying child and feeling terrible that there's nothing more you can do.

P.S. She barfed in my stocking cap on the way from the ped's office to Walgreen's, because it was the only receptacle I could lay my hands on in desperation while zipping down the expressway.

P.P.S. This all happened a week ago, so don't worry, she's 100% recovered now.
