1) I can't hear the words "vegetable lasagna" without thinking of Elaine from Seinfeld.
2) Last weekend I made vegetable lasagna, which was my first attempt at any kind of lasagna, can you believe it?
3) I don't know if anyone ever looks at the sidebar where I've been recording all our dinners for no particular reason, but here are a few recipes worth sharing:
Please, feel free to pay me back in kind.
- Pioneer Woman's Vegetable Lasagna was delish. Makes enough for at least 3 meals.
- Dinner A Love Story's Sausage, Kale and Cannellini Stew is NOT to be missed. You will feel like a saint for eating kale, and it actually tastes good, too. Makes enough to split and freeze half.
- Martha's Potato Salad - finally, one that has actual flavor to it, but is not overwhelmed by mustard. Plenty plentiful.

I'm laughing while reading this because I've been totally slacking in the meal updating portion of my blog and was contemplating this exact type of entry. Will do it this week and pay you back :-)
Kate - I believe that I first heard of Dinner: A Love Story on your blog, and it has become one of my absolute favorites. One of their best recipes for us thus far is the pork shoulder (http://www.dinneralovestory.com/instant-dinner-party/) - super easy, makes an obscene amount of food and fantastic leftovers. My favorite second day way to have it is on crusty bread with melted parmesan.
