Waylon at the Salon

Since this blog might as well be called, "My Hair, My Family, and My Family's Hair", it seems wrong not to commemorate Waylon's first professional haircut.  We went the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and Waylon was pretty unfazed.  He sat still much better for them than he ever has for me, but maybe that had something to do with the train seat, the TV, the people, and all the other stimulating stuff they have for one year old's to look at.

Why share just 1 photo when 9 will do?  : ) Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled Untitled
{Clearly engrossed in conversation...}

The funny thing is that in addition to bringing in a toddler and feeling like I left with a 7 year old, it also felt like he had gotten highlights, since his newer growth has been coming in lighter than his original dark brown hair.

Ack! My bay-beeeeee!

Just for good measure, in case you didn't think he needed a trim, here he is the day before with a hair clip holding his tresses out of his face, caught in one of his favorite activities: dragging the stool over to empty his bookcase out, book by book.

"Why share just 1 photo when 9 will do?" We blog fans couldn't agree more!! And you had to include shots with Georgia and Junebug. - Tom T.

The books. OMG, the books. I intended to leave a comment to your last post about the sweeping with a note about books. About picking up the.same.books.a.million.times.a.day. I only put up with it because of course I'm thrilled that Caris likes books. But honestly, it drives me crazy. Think I could train a dog to pick up books?
