Just a couple of recent amusing conversations.
Incident 1:
While arriving home and hopping out of the van after dark one night, the girls glance up at the sky and exclaim with a level of excitement that I had assumed would be reserved for witnessing Santa's sleigh in flight, "A STAR!!!! A REAL STAR!!! For real, Mom, I saw a REAL STAR!"
Incident 2:
Words of wisdom shared over grilled cheese sandwiches: "They're just like bees and sharks, Mom. If you don't bother them, then they won't bother you, right?" (Sigh. We were talking about rats.)
